Cross Country 2019-2020 school year

Distance runners are encouraged to join the cross country team for the 2019-2020 school year.  Athletes compete in a 5K race (3.1 miles).  Interested students should contact Coach Suzara at for more information.  Sign up for important updates using Remind:  Text the message @c74e22 to 81010.

1st Cross Country Meet

Our Cross Country team had their first meet yesterday at Fort Dorchester high school. There were approximately 80 runners overall. Our girl runners are very young with only three returners. Cross Country Completed

The Boy’s team has improved this season. Their individual times have lowered; overall, this is an improvement over last season.  The team’s goal for next season is to improve our team performance when our younger runners assume more of a leadership role.

Cross Country Region

The cross country team was up for a challenge when they competed at the region meet last week. Unfortunately, they came in last place. However, Alyssa Bongbonga was the fastest runner with a 5K time of 26.26. Coach Suzara says the team needs to improve on endurance. The next meet will be at the Wannamaker park and

At the Wannamaker Park region meet, no one on the Boys’ Cross Country team placed. It was the toughest meet for the runners this year.
