Grimm: I have coached at GCHS since 2008.

GCHS Journalism: What sports do you coach?

Grimm: I currently coach varsity basketball, girls’ tennis, and boys’ tennis.

Grimm: I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school. I played softball at Charleston Southern University. GO BUCS!!

GCHS Journalism: Why did you become a coach?

Grimm: I became a coach because the biggest mentors in my life were all my coaches growing up. They inspired me to work hard and humble and I wanted to do the same thing for other student athletes.

GCHS Journalism: Whats your favorite sport and why?

Grimm: My favorite sport is basketball because I love the fast-paced nature of the game. I also love hockey but that is because of my BUFFALO roots.

GCHS Journalism: What is your most memorable season at GCHS?

Grimm: Most memorable season: 2017 GC GIRLS BASKETBALL AAAAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP… duh ;).

GCHS Journalism: What do you do in your free time?

Grimm: When I have some free time I enjoy working out in the weight room and playing slow pitch softball.

GCHS Journalism: Where did you attend college? Why did you choose there?

Grimm: I attended Charleston Southern University on a softball Scholarship. I fell in love with Charleston and the  CSU community. Two of my fellow coaches on the basketball team are both CSU alums as well, Coach Baldwin and Coach Linney.
